RULES FOR THE USE OF PERSONAL DATA
In accordance with the Applicable Regulation relating to personal data (French Data Protection Act), the Data Subject has the following rights:
Information
The Data Subject is informed in a clear, transparent, understandable, and easily accessible manner about how BDI processes their Personal Data and about their rights, notably through the Privacy Policy.
Access
The Data Subject may request a copy of their Personal Data by contacting BDI at the address below. BDI may charge a fee for any additional copy requested.
Rectification
The Data Subject may request that BDI correct any inaccurate or outdated Personal Data, or complete it if it is incomplete. BDI may request proof of identity depending on the requested modifications.
Objection
The Data Subject has the right to object to the processing of their Personal Data when it is based on BDI’s legitimate interests, unless BDI can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing.
Erasure
The Data Subject may request the deletion of their Personal Data by contacting BDI at the address below. In certain cases, BDI may be required to retain Personal Data for legal or legitimate reasons.
Portability
The Data Subject may request that BDI provide them with their Personal Data in order to reuse it. This applies only to Personal Data provided by the Data Subject when the processing is based on consent or a contract and is carried out by automated means.
Withdrawal of Consent
The Data Subject may withdraw their consent at any time, where the processing of their Personal Data is based on consent.
Post-Mortem Instructions
The Data Subject also has the right to define specific and general instructions regarding the retention, deletion, and communication of their Personal Data after their death.
Complaint
The Data Subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in their country (CNIL in France) to challenge a decision made by BDI regarding their Personal Data. Before lodging any complaint, the Data Subject is invited to contact BDI using the contact information below.
Restriction
In some cases, the Data Subject may request the suspension of the processing of their Personal Data.
